Empire Stores Catalogue

I just had to tell everyone how impressed I am with their customer service.

Last month I did all my banking and payments online as usual, and to my dismay I received a statement from Empire stores saying that my payment had not cleared and I was being charged £15 for this.

I could not understand why this had happened and contacted the bank to ask if there had been a problem, I was assured that there were sufficient funds in my account and there was no reason why this payment had not cleared.

I sent an email to Empire explaining this and asked if it had been possible that someone had input my details incorrectly. Totally beleiving that I was wasting my time really.

But to my delight, Empire replied saying that they would credit the charges back to me and appologised for any inconvenience. :j

Well done Empire Stores, you have made me a very happy customer and I will continue to use your service ;)

Same happened to me last month they charged me £15 and their was no problem and also no problem with them crediting my account.

So happy with that, but what I always have a problem with, is when I send stuff back to then through their own courier they never receive the stuff...or so they say. I have to go through the process of photocopying the returns form and sending it to them before they credit my account. This costs me a stamp and envelope, this has happened 3 times now and I have also not received 2 items they say they dispatched to me.

So not really sure what is going on.

Anyone else had this problem with them??
