Refund by mistake

Hi,
My previous energy company refunded without and communication, they have now sent me a final bill for over £500 (which includes the mistaken refund) what are my rights? As we have already spent the refunded money?

Why spend it when you knew it was a mistake? You owe the money of course, ask if you can pay in instalments.0 -
Did you have a final bill from your previous supplier ?
Did you know that you were so much in credit ? Presumably you have had regular bills .Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
