Cigna AA Family Injury Plan

Options
I have been a policy holder of the above plan for over 15 years. Suddenly Cigna have written to me stating "they are no longer able to provide cover" at the next renewal. They don't give a reason. Has anyone come across such a situation? It may be in the policy conditions that they can stop providing cover at any time they deem necessary. Is this fair and reasonable for a policy holder of over 15 years.? My policy will cease and I will get no compensation or refunds.

Your cover will cease, but why would you receive a refund for periods in which you were covered in the past?
As for "compensation", what monetary loss have you suffered?

You are now perfectly at liberty to seek similar insurance elsewhere ...

    yes. plenty of times.

    yes it is.

Why should you get compensation or refunds? You paid for cover during the period they offered cover. They provided cover whilst you paid them. Job done.

These types of plans are rubbish. They are doing you a favour. Get some real insurance from the mainstream instead. Not obscure plans that have very low payout rates.
