Plantation shutters - cheap alternative?

Hi all, I really fancy plantation shutters on the window of our dining room but as the window is a tall one (Victorian house) they are coming out at well over £200. Anyone any ideas? I did wonder if a white wooden venetian blind would look ok....

You could look at those PerfectFit shutters, they will be cheaper but won't ever look as good as plantation shutters.
£200 is probably cheap for plantation shutters, even with DIY install -is that for plastic? We're waiting on delivery of some and it was £360 delivered for our living room window which is not huge, but they are hardwood and good quality. Worth it in the long run as its a small lincrease in price for something you will have for a long time.0
