Quotes on fixing window done before an offer?

Hi,
Sorry if the title was a bit mis-leading. However, people who want to offer on our house (their house has sold and they are very keen, viewed our house 3 times) have asked that before they offer, they want a quote on how much the window would cost to replace.
What would you do in this situation? We have said that its fine, and the people are coming tomorrow, but I'm hoping we will get something out of it.
Thanks, I am just a bit curious.

Anything unusual about the window? Why haven't you had it repaired. More than likely the cost of repair will be factored into their offer.0

What do you mean "get something out of it"?
Isn't a potential sale of your house enough?0 -
Buyers are entitled to check on the condiion of the property they want o buy, nd the costs of any necessary repairs. That's why they have surveys done, gas/electrics reports etc.
this is really no different - though usually it happens after an offer's been accepted.0 -
Depends on who they are getting in to do the quotes on windows. If it the usual suspects (Anglian, Zenith, Safestyle, etc), I wouldn't give any reduction in price. If they can afford those prices, they can afford to pay a bit extra for the property.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
