But you will all be pleased to know it had £256 pound in it :j Over £200 was £2 coins.
I was trying to shake £60 out but along came OH with a hammer......
So tomorrow i am going to bank the cash and Monday call Northern Rock to clear my loan and put rest in my ISA.
And i will be buying a sealed tin from poundland or similar to start again until Dec 1st.
Please don't hate me!
EDIT: Just counted and there was £222 worth of £2 coins, so it must be fate, or so OH says.
we couldn't possibly hate you.Just make a note of your total and add it to whatever is in your pot on Dec 1st.You're not the first to have to use it.I used mine for my holiday remember! The thing is we still saved that amount so should still count it in our total. It doesn't matter that we needed to use it before the 1st of Dec. Some people have banked theirs and some have spent theirs. It all countslost my way but now I'm back ! roll on 2013

Hi LMM,
Don't be daft - about the hating you part - as if we could! I wondered whether you'd hold out or not, but as has happened it was just as well as you're now DEBT-FREE!!!! Also, there was far more than you anticipated, so all in all, not a bad thing to have done. Well done LMM and thanks for the giggle!!
As Molly says, one way or tother it was still money you'd saved, so what the heck.
All the best with saving again.
Sue

Hi all - £4 in my pottie today. It's sooooooooo nearly full, but seems to be going very slowly now I'm near the top.
Pretty sure I won't have met the £1000 target as I've been unemployed for most of the year: 0( BUT...am currently working so stuffing pottie as much as possible at the mo.
Hope you're all enjoying the weekend. It's sunny in London. YAY!!!!Save me from spending...

Hi LC, good for you with such a great amount - even if it doesn't get to the £1000! I'd be happy with half that!
A beautiful day here, we made the most of it and went out for a wonderful day......
.....then came home to see we'd won £10 for 3 numbers on the lottery!!!!! That's the 2nd time in about 3 months, but we only ever buy 1 ticket a week! :j It's going in the pot for certain, same as the last tenner.

Thanks a lot PrincessPeach, we couldn't believe it as we'd previously gone for months and months with little more than 1 or 2 numbers each time so we were delighted.
Fingers crossed for your turn!:D
I think you and I must be at about the same way, the glass half empty/half full stage.... keep slogging away PP!

Evening everyone,
Nice to see the banter and support still going on, well done LLM first for becoming debt free & second for having so much in your pot. I've been reclaiming credit card charges on Lloyds TSB card since April this year and getting nowhere fast, sent them a letter at the end of August asking them to look at my claim again or send me a final response. Well they done both, looked at my claim & gave me a final response, they are refunding £347.15 to my Lloyds TSB credit card account as a goodwill gesture YAY, a result. This now takes my debtfree date down to 38 months (Nov 2011), and my original debtfree date was 66 months (Nov 2014)
Thanks for the support everyone
