    Hi all,
Haven't been on here much lately, but I'm still saving like mad. Put about £7 in on Friday, so the pot's getting really heavy now. Does anyone else think that once it's in the pot, they don't miss it? It's going to feel like free money when it's opened. Can't wait.

Well the new one should start Dec 1st too but depends on how many people are up for it, most of the regulars from early on in the year seem to have disappeared, from the thread at least. :(
Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month
  • ok thanks
will keep an eye out for it

I haven't posted for a while but great to see everyone doing so well.

The pennies have been slowly going in my hippo (didn't have a pig but I use a hippo biscuit jar - couldn't fill it with bisciuits so doing 2 good turns :rotfl: )

The children are sooo excited about the count day, roll on 1st December:T

I'm definitely up for next year too.

It's amazing where the pennies come from, they turn up in lunch boxes, washing machine etc... all get added.

I've even started putting the children's school lunch money change in there.

The children, especially our youngest always find money when we are out. So far best days are: Thorpe Park £7.83, Luton Airport £2.02 and MK shop £6.37. On holiday he found a total of 14 euros. To be fair he rarely comes home without at least a penny. :D

Ooh yes I'd like to join this too... I did something similar last January when I was unaware of the forum and unforunately cracked halfway through the year. I'm determined to do it though this year!
