Hi all, I would just like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone on this board and especially you lovely people on this thread. After finding this threads a few months ago i thought I would give the sealed pot a go, I have just opened my £1/£2 and I have £176 WOOHHHOOO. Still have a silver pot on the go nowhere near full yet and have just started on my second £1 tin.
I am putting the money into a savings ac for a holiday next year, cant afford one this year but am now well on my way to getting one next year. So once again Thankyou everyone and keep saving.

Tab, well done. It is amazing how little coins and add up to so much, and you really don't miss them when they go in the pot. Keep going and you will have plenty for your hols next year.0

Well done Tab! Just goes to show what saving the coins can do - and they'd possibly just be frittered away on various odds and ends IF you hadn't bothered. Good for you that you did! A wonderful place this board!

Hi all, I haven't forgotten you and Phil the Pig is still slowly gaining weight. Sorry that I never have the time to hang around here these days but I got into too many challenges and my homepage developed into a website!
This week Phil crashed through the 4kg barrier and I haven't the faintest idea how much is in him. He's still nowhere near full but I am remaining confident that I'll keep him safe and well until December and then the contents will be helping pay for Christmas.I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

Evening Sparky. I've been on nights. Bah! But am off them now. Anfields crap, as you may have noticed in the papers!
Liverpool 1's great isn't it? We went to the roof top cafe in John Lewis's. Very nice, but pricey! (We had crepes)I am one of the 63336.'It is better to have lived one day as a tiger than a thousand years as a sheep.'
