Ok I've done it and I'm shaking with shock.......

I didn't smash my terramundi but managed to pop the top off in one piece so I can re-glue in as hoped in true MSE style and plan to start again.

    The contents ....................

    £902.00 in £2 coins
    £ 13.00 in £1 coins (didn't know I'd put any in. )
£ 6.50 in 50p's (don't remember putting them in either).
    GRAND TOTAL £921.50

As to what I'm going to do with it, no idea, didn't know such a little pot could hold so much either or that I could save so much. This is a huge amount of money to me and I feel really emotional right now (bit like a cry baby to be honest but silly too, does this make sense?).

For those of you who are saving in what every kind of pot, stick with it, the buzz you get when you realise what you've done is incredible.

Don't know what else to say other than I'm going for a lie down to recover.........

    wow thats fantastic :)
Inspiration for us all.Well done. What you going to do with it?

What an amount Joyce, congratulations!:D I'm so pleased you didn't smash it and that you can re-use it. I too will be interested in hearing what you're going to do with it; save it for Christmas, a holiday - or just saving it or paying a debt off maybe. How about putting into a savings account and starting off again to see what you can add to it.

I can honestly understand how you feel, I know I'd have felt the same at discovering I'd saved THAT amount! My biggest fear come Christmas is that there won't be as much as what I'd hoped for, but plenty of time til then so plenty of time to lighten hubs pockets! Nothing for me today, but we've not been anywhere.

Wow! :T Well done Cheeky, it really is like Christmas come early. My poor little tins are only being fed coppers, 5, 10s and 20s so I don't expect too much, but everything helps. I have filled one coke tin already and am on my second hope to have 3 by 1 Dec.
