Omg after two years and 3 months the terramundi which I got for my birthday two years past February is now full which I'm dead chuffed at, but why am I so reluctant to smash it to open it? :o

I've weighed it and it's 13lbs 8oz in weight but I very much doubt google will do the conversion of pound and ounces of £2 coins into £'s do you?

I'm now trying to pluck up the courage to smash it or hopefully pop the top off with a claw hammer and in true MSE style glue the top back on and reuse it. :D:D

Anyone filled theirs with £2 coins who could give me an idea of how much it will be so I don't die of shock and what did you do next?

I'll report back later when I've plucked up the courage to do the deed........

cheekyweegit - have you smashed it yet? Dying to know how much you've got in it. This is almost as exciting as opening my own pot (which I'm not gonna do of course) :)
BTW Hi everyone, how are we all?
    £4.50 into my pot today.

    oopalah,
As stunty said a couple of nights ago, put the "pot" down and step away. cheekyweegit, well done on filling your terramundi, it would be a shame to smash it, can't wait to find out how much is in there

    Evening everyone.
Got a busy weekend on, so will try and look in when (and if) I get time, be good and keep stuffing change into your "pots"

Ok I've done it and I'm shaking with shock.......

I didn't smash my terramundi but managed to pop the top off in one piece so I can re-glue in as hoped in true MSE style and plan to start again.

    The contents ....................

    £902.00 in £2 coins
    £ 13.00 in £1 coins (didn't know I'd put any in. )
£ 6.50 in 50p's (don't remember putting them in either).
    GRAND TOTAL £921.50

As to what I'm going to do with it, no idea, didn't know such a little pot could hold so much either or that I could save so much. This is a huge amount of money to me and I feel really emotional right now (bit like a cry baby to be honest but silly too, does this make sense?).

For those of you who are saving in what every kind of pot, stick with it, the buzz you get when you realise what you've done is incredible.

Don't know what else to say other than I'm going for a lie down to recover.........
