Ok, so I wasnt a member of this challenge but I have had a sealed tin for the last year. It was getting very heavy (almost full) and I needed spending money for a holiday next week, so I opened it during the week and guess what!!!

    €456.46 popped out!!
I'm so delighted as now I dont need any more money for my wee break in Spain!! Hope everyones sealed pot gives them a nice surprise!!!

    Afternoon molly.
Well done on putting money in your pot. You'll have to tell me how you make your dough, I used to make bread when I was younger and working in a bistro.
Cheque from Cap 1 finally came today for card charges, so thats £72 in the ISA to repay my mum, it only took them about 5 weeks to send it, you try that with them and they charge you a late fee lol.
Checked my pot (savings account earning interest) £148.72 so far (£24.72) ahead of my target, DW has joined the £2 savers club, but thinks if she takes mine, then that is her £2

  • Hi guys :hello: just poping in to let you know i am still about and alive, just about, had a bad cold and been trying to catch up on college work with out much luck:rolleyes: , i just can't get in to study mode at home. Mumzy, it's good to see your back. how was your hol? Stunty, centre parcs is great, we (when i was married) took DS & DD, they loved it and we still talk about it now and laugh about it now, OH woke up one night because there was a spider in the room and he hates them, so 'I' had to get rid of it, the thing I couldn't get over while I was there was how peaceful it was at night coming, we did live near the airport at that time so i guess anything is better than listening to planes taking off all day and night. I have not been putting much in my pot but i did put £5 in my online savings account. I hope everyone else is ok and a BIG hug from me if your not.
Back on MSE again! to take control of my finances and not let it control me. :T May grocery challenge £41.96/140
