Evening Sparky, ice skating in NY is a must. Went ice skating with the ex at the Rockerfeller centre, it's brilliant. I learnt to skate at Deeside. lol, boy how much fun that was! I'll see if I can dig out a piccie of the ice rink at the Rockerfeller centre.....

Hi Monica,

Well I was going to say "Yes, you would need to put it all (separately 1ps, 5ps, 20s etc) in the plastic bags to change for notes etc", but then I realised you meant to take it in to put it into your account in which case - unless you've got tons of the stuff then I'd think they would just take it from you. If you're at all wary though then take it in in 2 halves.

Glad you got your DH into it as well, makes a great deal of difference when you're both saving as much as you can. My hubby saves his in a little pot (but it's there to spend too) so I help him by ......waiting until he's out or in the shower then taking some to put in mine - where it DOESN'T get spent!!!:D

My new Dr Who tardis has arrived for my sealed money pot challenge - not exactly sealed but I'll be less likely to pinch from it than in the pint glass I was using before!

Being really good - end of every day I'm putting all coppers/5p's into my plant pot, and all 10p's/20p's into the Tardis
