Hi Peeps,
I think it's getting easier to leave the pot unopened as each day passes. I found it really hard in January and nearly gave in thinking it's ages to go til the opening day, but now it's nearly March it doesn't feel too bad. We are about a sixth of the way through now eh? I'm just hoping I have the willpower to leave it until December.....
Hope you are all still enjoying the challenge.
Off to bed now, ZZZZZzzzzzzzA penny saved is one you don't have to earn! :wave:0 -

Mumzy hope you are feeling better today, you sounded a bit down yesterday, keep your chin up kid, I think we all have times like that, but that's what we're all here for, to support each other.Sparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. Hi all,
Well after a very drunk hubby on friday my pot has had some extra love.
I have justified the extra £1.30 in that if he was unable to undress himself when we got home and then the money fell on the floor if he wasnt sensible enough to pick it up in the morning despite his hangover then its only fair that it goes in my pot.
Im hoping im not evil, I might get him a nice cup of coffee to relieve the guilt. lol0 -

Hi everyone!!!
I lost you all for days.
Couldn't find you anywhere on forums so I made a last ditched attempt today and caught up... reading about the lovely new baby, harbour move, general gossip.
Yes you are all really friendly. Thanks for all your replies.
Putting £6 in the pot which I would have spent last night. OB treated me by buying my drinks all night. Bless him. Would it be cheeky to suggest he puts his change in from last night as well?
So glad the pot opening is on 1st Dec. Thats just before my birthday and as a teacher school is merry hell about that time and its usually a really rubbish day, so I will take £20 out for a birthday treat-whatever the total. That way I will balance reports, parents' projecting their own christmas stress onto me, moody head-i'm head of lower school, etc......with a bit of fun!!!!!
Don't worry I am a positive person....just noticed the pattern each year as it coincides with birthday.
Cheers everyone!!!! Frugal Living 2010 member MFW by 2014 Was 88,000 now £46,877.90 Grocery Budget for Dec-April=£173.72/£244 (Groc Budget 2010 from Ebay/Voucher savings/Quidco -If we can do it will save our £980 GC budget) Now living the dream -in our tiny country cottage-all thanks to MS forums. x 39 2 go
