evening everyone.I managed to put lots of change into my pot today.That's only cos I spent lots while out shopping .hope everyone else is doing ok!

No change to pop in today After putting mine in yesterday I haven't been out today so not had to draw any out of bank. So in a way that's a good thing too.

Evening All,
Well I finally succumbed, and I've done my snowball calculator, what a scary hour that's been, worked out that I will be debt free in 65 months or June 2013. I am definitely NOT staying in debt for 65 bl**dy months, so it's time to knuckle down and reduce my debt in the earliest possible time. I'm sick of working only to give it to someone else.

Just to let you all know you've been an inspiration to me, making me face upto my debt and I'd like to thank you all.

Will keep you posted as to my progress

For years I have been saving all the change from my purse except one coin of each denomination. I have become so avid abou this that I will change notes specially so I have change to save!

Last year I got enough to pay my car insurance. I haven't touched the money since May 07 and now the box I keep it in in so heavy I can't lift it!!

I've just got a money tin sealed shut with lots of sellotape... it's pretty impenetrable so it doesn't present any temptation to take a few quid out, but it does mean that when it's full I can just peel the sellotape off without destroying it and start again... I agree the sealed tin things are quite cool though so if it helps you leave the money alone then go for it! :cool:

I have a sealed tin which needs a can opener, sellotape would just not be enough to hold back DH I'm afraid, whereas if he got a tin opener to my tin he knows I would kill him :rotfl: Few more bits in last night for me, can't really put in all my £1 & £2 coins tho as really skint now :rolleyes:

My "smash" tin is sealed with tape.Classy eh.I've put a few more in today.It actually rattles now lol.Where is everyone? Are we just missing Mumzy?
