hi all, havent put loads in the tin cos havent been spending anything. had £20 in my purse last week and down to £11.80ish, so kept the £10 in my purse and put the rest in the tin. I spend it when I have it, its so bad! should put the tenner in too??

I have no change in my purse and am trying really hard not to break my notes in purse! all change is in pots......
I am going to find my Martin Lewis book and have it as bed time reading.
And I have discovered a strange urge to bake....am now obsessed with saving money and eating better. sick of being ill randomly!

Going to do some shopping for bargains today - Heinz beans 23p/ BOGOF offers etc to see how much I can get for about £5 then I will have some change to put in

Well, it's going well so far Buffy, I have had a grumble at my mate for setting me up with her, but only in a good natured way!

My Dad found a £20 note in a pair of jeans i gave him to wash today (hes helping me have a mass tidy), must have been in there months as i only just found these jeans in a bag (yes am messy!) thinking might put it in pot but more tempted to spend it!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0

Why don't you split the difference & put half into your sealed pot, that way you get the best of both worlds, you get to save a tenner & you've also found a tenner, and you'll feel good about it! Winner thats what I say
