I've been wondering about just chucking any coins in my sealed pot, I started off wanting to put £2 coins in but don't seem to get many, also dd has 50p's and £1 coins for dinner money, the rest I need for my food budget.
20p and under pig is now my 5p pig (I've told dd she can have our coppers to put towards hers for an animal charity) and 20p's go in the sealed pot.
So I am changing my rules now and only a few weeks in to the challenge, oh dearie me.... maybe I'm just settling in to what works for me (she said hopefully :undecided ).
On a happy note, it's good fun to be part of this and knowing we are opening them on 1st Dec, makes me stick at it. Good job it's sealed or it would have been counted a dozen times by now. :wave:A penny saved is one you don't have to earn! :wave:0 -
Just posted on live on £4k but just thought I would post here too!! My sealed pot has caused me some problems
I had to go to hosp and stay overnight due to preg problems and we had no change for parking
which DH blamed all on me coz I won't let him have any money :rotfl: so we had to get money out and now I have no idea what was spent or what is left in his pockets......
Hope everyone is well and I will try and catch up on posts at some point so I apologise if I have missed something HUGE

Morning All,
Extra £2.50 going into the "Pot" due to the newspaper delivery man being late all week, so I haven't bought a morning paper, I suppose every bit helps doesn't it?
Have a good day everyone & take care
