Evening everyone.I've been sale shopping today.Good news is I couldn't find much so came back with my £56 in £2 coins, £50 xmas cash and £20 boots vouchers and points still intact on my boots card.Means I didn't have much to add to my pot but I'm so proud of myself if not a little dissapointed.

    Hello Mumzy:hello:

Just noticed I don't have a number you must have missed little me. I'd be really grateful if you would add me as I did ask nicely (I think) several days before the challenge closed.

I will be joining in anyway. I am waiting for my terramundi to arrive but have been putting money in a vase in the mean time. I think the £20 I spent on the pot will be worth it. It is attractive so I won't get fed up with it cluttering the kitchen and I will not want to smash it to break into it before planned.

I've been using coupons to buy essential groceries in tesco and then adding the savings to the pot and started it off with a crisp tenner. I think this challenge will help me with curbing the unnecessary spending. When weighing up if I really want to buy it I will give myself the option of popping the cash in the pot. Think in some instances this will seem like the more attractive option. Especially when I am trying to resist say Clinique 'bonus time' adding to my bathroom stash. I can never resist but really don't need anything.

    Happy savings everyone.

Ba$$$$$s. I loathe the benefits people. they just seem to mess everything up for people who need the help. My friends sister is owed approx £5000 via the CSA and they're just useless.
