So I'm writing about my efforts to improve in an attempt to motivate others who are far from experts when it comes to MoneySaving. Previously I've covered train delays, overseas travel, credit scores, finding lost cash and switching bank. Today: depositing coins.

Not clicking, but I'm not fussed about how much he had in his jar. I'm more concerned about all the interest that guy could have got had that money not been in cash, and all the cashback he could have made had he put it all on cashback cards. Both of which he forewent while a bunch of coins sat in a jar, until he had to take them all out and lug them to the bank.

Yes, I did get three figures of pounds but it took several years until I got round to bagging them all up - and found some 20p coins. You don't miss those small value coins in your purse but the result........
  • Anyone know if the Main site is hosted on a different server to these forums?

I ask because I have to avoid the main site as it just loads ( say, half a page) then locks up my iPad. I have no problems with the forum or cheapenergyclub, just the main site. :(
