Solarplicity refund

I switched from Solarplicity before they went bust but was awaiting a refund of the credit balance.

I understand EDF were taking over these accounts but I've had no contact from EDF. I tried phoning them a couple of times and been told they don't have any details of an account at my address so they can't do anything until they do get details and they don't know how long this will take.

Am I the only one? Has anyone else had a refund or any contact from EDF?

It may not be EDF. Find out who are your current suppliers here and read the Which? advice.

Anyone which EDF took on still waiting for their final bill from Solarplicity will receive that within the next 3 weeks.

And for the unfortunate souls that Toto Energy acquired at the beginning of August, they should start receiving demands shortly. These demands will not be accompanied by a proper invoice, just threats and lies.

My electricity and gas switches from Solarplicity finalised a few days before they (officially) went bust.

I received my final Solarplicty bill from its administrators today.

The documentation shows I'm owed about £100, however my own calculations indicate I'm owed about £145.

The accompanying letter says I will get my money back, however I should not contact EDF until they have contacted me first.

I'll wait to hear from EDF, send them my documentation and calculations and wait for the refund I'm owed.
