Strange E7 off-peak periods

I live in North West where E7 off-peak period should be 00:30-7:30 GMT. But I find the actual period for my meter is 21:30-23:30 GMT (based on switching sound from the consumer unit and storage heater switch light) and another period later at night. The meter is a teleswitched so it should not be affected by the internal clock. Why does it have a different off-peak period? I contacted my supplier and their answer is even more strange, saying my off-peak period is 21:30-00:30 and 2:30-7:30, so in total 8 hours....Is this normal? How do I find out the exact periods, especially the second period so I can set my immersion heater properly? Don't want to stay awake all night to look at the storage heater light.

Stayed awake last night and saw the off-peak light switched on again at about 2:30am. This confirms the E7 periods of my meter is 22:30-00:30 and 02:30-07:30 BST. It resembles to the one in the south east. Strange, but good for me!

Well that resolve didn't last very long.

Oh well, glad you've got yourself sorted now :)
