in Credit cards
Hi
I requested a refund on a broken item I had ordered. The refund is due to be paid into my Amex credit card which will make it about £30 in credit. Will this be ok? What should I do? I don’t want to withdraw it in case there’s a fee?

If you explain it to them they should do it for free.Life in the slow lane0

In view of the relatively small amount, save yourself the bother of calling them and asking them to send a refund cheque (which they should do if asked) and just spend the £30 on the card next time you go shopping/buy petrol or whatever.0

Either spend it or ask them to send it to your account/send a cheque.0

Just spend it
Asking for a cheque is bit outdated0 -
It is a specific scenario where you will not be breaking the T&Cs by going in to credit.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans
