ParkingEye Newcastle RVI Hospital - claim form

Advice needed for a friend.
A nurse paid to park at a bank holiday rate £3.60 all day, yet parkingeye claim she under paid (assuming they applied the usual Monday rate of Xx per hour).
She still has the ticket with the times on - well within the bank holiday allowable hours.
Hasn’t been on this site before for advice.
Failed popla appeal - she submitted photos as proof having revisited the car park - to be told they could have been taken anywhere as there was no context/ point of reference. They are refusing to accept new evidence as the appeal was rejected.
New photos/ video would be relatively easy to obtain.
Now received claim form which has been acknowledged.
She’s very anxious about this and considering paying up.
I’m not familiar with ParkingEye tactics - would this be easy to defend and are they likely to back off with a well written defence or take it all the way?
Or any other advice anyone can offer?
Thanks

What is the Issue Date on the Claim Form?
Did it come from the County Court Business Centre in Northampton, or from somewhere else?0 -
Yes it’s a real claim form from Northampton I’ve seen it.
Received a few days ago and already acknowledged.0 -
Find out the issue date on the form for a detailed reply from KeithP
Parking Eye didn't back off from Beavis , so why would they start now ?
They must think that they have a case
I have no idea what was meant by bank holiday Hours , unless the signage has explicit conditions for bank holidays
Check that the correct VRM was input on the paid for ticket and check what that all day rate is for bank holidays on the actual signs0
