What do I do now? Just ignore the letters to come?
The good news is that POPLA decisions are not binding on the motorist. Ignore debt collectors letters, do not ignore LBC/LoC/LBA/LBCCC, just respond, after making sure it is a genuine LoC not masquerading as one but really being a debt collecting plea. Definitely do not ignore formal court papers from Northampton CCBC.

Thanks for this - I had no idea. I'm still not happy about receiving court letters though. I've spent so much time on all this that it feels completely demoralising and I wish I'd just paid in the first place.

You need to be reading post #2 when you receive a Letter of Claim or official court correspondence.
More a matter of when not if, then?
At the moment, you are unlikely to see a court claim from ECP.

But do remember that they have up to six years to work out how to do it.

Keep all paperwork for that time just in case.
