Hi
I have a sky box and arial, but I don't subscribe to sky any more.
I want to change to freeview, I know the signal is good here, but do I need an ordinary arial or will the sky one do?

SKY uses a satellite dish not an aerial - the dish is not suitable for freeview. If you have good reception you may be able to get away with an indoor aerial you stick on top of your tv but you may already have an aerial on your roof as well as the dish. Most people do.
Also if you still have the sky box you can use it to get the free to air sky channels which is most of the freeview ones (minus e4 and film4 and a few others I think) plus some others, this is without a subscription.0 -
I did used to get quite a few free channels up until a couple of weeks ago, and then the order in which they appeared on the index changed and I couldn't get them any more.
I don't have an ariel, my ex took it with him! lol0 -
I don't have sky so I couldn't tell you how to do it but is there a way to rescan the channels? or you may need a free-to-air card from sky to get that to work as it has your regional info on the card etc.

There is the original card still in the sky box, I'm not sure how to rescan, I'll have a look on their website.
No one else's has changed that I know!0 -

Not sure about this. Do you mean that there is no aerial with your TV? Wouldn't this mean you can't watch it? Anyway, there was a change in the Freeview list a few weeks ago. I just went into the part of the system where you can get the latest list.0
