Morning all

Blast of sunshine here which is very welcome

Cancelled course today so a treat at home day :j Continuing with the mission to declutter the wardrobes I am clearly in the group of us that only wear 20% of my stock if not less so its been time to get vicious. I'm doing it at the rate that the bags come through so its a slow process but very rewarding to see space.

I have the usual glut of chillies this year so am planning on loads of chilli jam and some chilli oil ....the rest I can freeze. I get orders from friends for both so I'll sort that at the weekend.

Making a simple bacon mushroom and cheese pasta tonight as I thought it was a work day .... last night was my favourite liver and onions a a thick gravy....very marmite I know but I love it

Tomorrow is Alexa day so the book starts running on time before its back here ...wish me luck

Afternoon all
A largely sunny day here so bedding went on the line and came in again when we had a shower at lunchtime.
I finished it off in tumble dryer.

DH's friend came over unexpectedly this morning as he wanted some model locomotives valued for sale from a widow whose husbamd was a railway enthusiast. He stayed for lunch and a chat.

I did have grand plans for doing some ironing, continue to sort my winter clothes out and make a cake but that's all gone by the board now as a friend rang up for a long chat.
Think I will just settle down with some knitting now.
