Have I got any chance?

Hi there,

So I'm in Court tomorrow VS Gladstones. I have prepared everything, WS, Bundle, Defence (Submitted previously to court) BUT I missed the deadline for the WS and I haven't submitted that to court.

Is it even worth me showing up?

Yes you have a chance, but without knowing anything about your case, it might be a slim chance.

Even if you lose you must argue to reduce their unfair costs.
  • Thanks Keith. Will the judge take my WS that I bring with me into consideration considering I did not file it?

Take two copies. I guess you haven't sent one to the Claimant either.

Brush up on those disallowed costs.

This is your third thread on this, no more please.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • Well, I won :D. Gladstone’s sent a ‘legal executive’ who was fairly well prepared and until the end I thought I’d lost the case.

But the judge agreed with my main argument that the signage was confusing in the area.

He was not interested in a lot of the points listed on here, POFA, Links appeal process, same director at IAS and Gladstone’s etc etc.

The only thing he concerned himself with was the photos I provided of contradicting signage nearby.

An interesting experience but probably not one id do again!! Hopefully it’s costs Gladstone’s and Link some money :)

It’s the 2nd actually, not that it matters? It’s the surly attitude of people like you on this forum that almost made me not fight this. Grow up

I am very pleased you won well done, but your attack on TD who was actually being helpful, and quoting forum rules was uncalled for.
