Which is my stoptap?

It's maybe the washing machine as we don't have a dish washer - but same difference I guess. Thanks for all the help people. Seems like the front door area is what I need to use or maybe outside.

And yes, IKEA kitchen! Not our choice, it was already there unfortunately. It works though so can't complain too much!0

You do not need to use the shut off valve in the street or the one in your house with the missing handle because you have isolation valves to each tap under your sink.
Simply use a screwdriver to turn the valve 90 degrees:

If you can't find the external one, give your water company a call and they can get someone to locate it for you free of charge. It's definitely worth knowing where it is.0

Its a good idea to make sure the main is usable and works in case the isolation valves start leaking! Or you ever get a leak at 3am.0

Thanks. I was aiming for the isolation valves under the sink. Unfortunately they have siliconed the underside of the sink to the wall! I mean I can always just take it off, but my guess, given the amount of bodge-jobs the previous owners did, the thing won't stay on the hangars after I take it off! Maybe I will I will have a closer inspection!0
