[FONT="]I've obtained my PH drivers licence, and now require PH insurance, intend to work for Uber[/FONT]
[FONT="]Lots of advertisements on the internet including comparison sites offering this cover, unsure which to choose[/FONT]
[FONT="]Anyone have recommendations for reliable company offering this cover.[/FONT]
[FONT="]My current car insurance doesn't offer PH / taxi cover[/FONT]

I use to use Aviva for this under its previous incarnation. You won’t find it very cheap though and you’re unable to use a private car No Claims Bonus either which isn’t ideal. Good luck! ��0

I was talking to a people carrier taxi driver a few years ago, he said taxi insurance costs around £2,000
I thought Uber had their own insurance.0 -

On my car insurance, I have 10yrs NCB, once I chnge to private hire insurance, do I lose my NCB?
What if I decide private hire is not for me, and change back to SDP use, do I start off with nil NCB?0
