Moving to the UAE

I am moving to Abu Dhabi in an internal transfer with my company to oversee a project. I am moving in November 2019, and the duration will be - at least- 12 months (probably 24 months). If I like it out there, I think there is a chance I will not return to the UK and I am leaving with this in mind.

Key points.
  • I will be paid by our companies agents in the UAE - so my wage will be paid by a UAE company.
  • I am moving over there for the duration of this contract
  • I have rental property in the UK - these generally have made a small profit that has paid most of the mortgage.
  • I intend to keep a UK bank account open
  • I have no other ties to the UK, and intend for all intent and purpose to reside fully in the UAE.

What will my tax status be - the transfer is only appealing if it means a significant tax reduction - continuing on UK tax means this move isn't worth it.

Can anyone recommend a company to give me professional tax advice - information is difficult to find.

Thank You
