PIP Tribunal Question

Hi all hope you are well?
I can’t remember if I’ve already asked this question but my husband is taking PIP to tribunal and received a letter from the tribunal service to say the DWP hadn’t responded to them as they want their bundle of evidence, they gave the DWP extra time to send this info in but in the meantime they asked my hubby to send all letters he has received from them regarding his PIP claim.
The DWP have still not contacted the tribunal service or my husband regarding his claim, so what happens now?
Will the tribunal just book a date for the hearing and order someone from the DWP to attend?
What if they don’t turn up? Will it be adjourned?
Will it be a fair hearing if the DWP don’t show up?
Sorry for all the questions guys, there seems to be no answers online as the DWP usually respond.

As advised on your previous thread, it's not usual for this to happen. The hearing will still go ahead but the waiting times are huge in a lot of areas.
A DWP representative doesn't always show on the day of the hearing but it doesn't make any difference to the hearing either way.0 -
