Hi,
i'm on my way to the credit journey (build it up).
I'm Self employed since 2010
I got a santander bank account
in the ER
and got my first CC with Vanquis.
Whats the next step, my goal is to get financing for the company to expand (maybe with Amex) but it seems everyone denies me so far.
No negs of course on my file.
Whats on my file is:
Vanquis (500 gbp limit) 0 balance
Santander
Very.co.uk 49 gbp limit
and the credit builder loan from Cashplus

Are you talking about your company? A commercial credit file for a business is different from your personal credit file...I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
I love my job

I find your situation to be quite curious as you say you have been self employed since 2010 but don't mention what you were doing before that.
Despite the fact that 9 years has passed since becoming self employed, you don't appear to have progressed very far as far as your credit files are concerned and I am wondering why.
Don't you have any form of mobile phone contract, even a SIM only? Do you really conduct your 'self employment' and run your 'company' with a PAYG phone?
Do you not have any household bills, utilities, home phone, broadband in your name that report to CRA's?
How long have you been 'in' the ER?
How long have you held the Santander bank account?
How come you have only a Vanquis card with such a small limit after all this time?
How come you write amounts as 345 gbp rather than as GBP345 or the more common practice of using the pound sign £?0 -
You’d build your credit history the same way you were told in your previous posts these past couple of months.0

Don't you have any form of mobile phone contract, even a SIM only? Do you really conduct your 'self employment' and run your 'company' with a PAYG phone? - I use sunshine mobile, they i think dont report. But for my business i dont need a phone its Amazon FBA and they take care of everything.
Do you not have any household bills, utilities, home phone, broadband in your name that report to CRA's? no its not payed by me.
How long have you been 'in' the ER? 6 month
How long have you held the Santander bank account? 2 month, before i had Revolut
How come you have only a Vanquis card with such a small limit after all this time? i just got that card a month ago
How come you write amounts as 345 gbp rather than as GBP345 or the more common practice of using the pound sign £? a) my keboard doesnt have £ its a German computer, and b) in Germany (and i still follow that) we usually write xxx Euro........0
