how to make the most of 3 days in Edinburgh in November...
would like to see castle, maybe botanical gardens ( indoor bit!)

The National Museum is well worth a visit, it's free and under cover.
If the Scottish parliament is in session you can go and watch debates.
You need a full day if you really want to give it justice.
Royal Yacht is another attraction where you can spend well over half a day, well worth the money. Get there for opening and you will have a head start before the crowds arrive.
