Driveway extension quote

Hello, getting some quotes to functionally extend our driveway. No surfacing as yet. I have two quotes to date and waiting for a third. This is from the person I found the easiest to deal with so far, and also many positive reviews on Checkatrade, though hasn't been in business very long. Young chap who seems to have gone solo about a year ago.
Does this sound about right - South-East: Brighton.
The driveway is about 6m length and the extension is just over 1m width.
QUOTE:
Shorten the front wall and build a new pier at the opening
Clear the shrubbery and dispose of [this includes some bushes and a small tree]
Take down the existing retaining wall and dispose of
Dig footings for a new retaining wall at a depth of 300 x 300 mm and concrete
Build a new retaining wall to 70cm as discussed extending to the tree line
In fill and base the new driveway area with Type 1 Mot and wacker plate down, finishing approximately 100mm below the existing driveway
Raise the new base level of driveway with pea shingle stones to existing driveway level
Total including Materials and labour
£3200

The job was done for £2500 by a local builder in the end. Did a nice job over 3 days (not full working days) and left the site perfectly tidy and I've been parking my car on it since end October
