Asbestos

I've recently purchased a house with a very overgrown garden. I've been clearing it out and found several bags with asbestos warning tape behide a shed.
It's been 5 weeks since we completed, is it worth contacting the seller's solicitor to find out exactly what's in the bags and to recover potential costs to remove it?
Thanks

It might be tricky to dispose depending on council.
Round my way you call the council to get the bags, they print the reg number of the car and the person named on council tax on the bag. If that car and that person doesn't turn up then they don't take them.0 -
