Balance transfer advice

I am currently with Barclaycard, coming to the end of my 0% period, but still have an o/s balance of 2k. I have been offered 28 months 0% BT by Barclaycard. Would I be able to BT my current balance onto an alternative provider, and then take Barclaycard up on the offer to shift it onto a long term 0%?

You can if you can find another provider who's willing to offer you a card with enough of a credit limit, but you'll need to factor in the transfer fees in both directions too....

    Yes......but 2 lots of fees.

Does the offer include money transfer?

If the other provider would be an application, then go for a fee free card and leave it there. Would be a shorter term no doubt, but earning more and spending less during the shorter period might balance things out. No fees at all going this way.

    Yes you can.

I am guessing here that you are not planning to make a new application, transfer the balance by paying a fee and then pay another fee to transfer it back but have something like a 4.9% APR no-fee existing customer offer somewhere and are planning to use it to facilitate this double transfer.

A 28 Month 0% existing customer offer is EXCEPTIONAL. Are you 100% sure about this? It almost defies belief that Barclaycard would be making this existing customer offer. What is the fee?

EDIT. Have just discovered that Barclaycard are advertising a 28 month 0% NEW CUTOMER offer. (28 month platinum balance transfer card). If looks like the OP is planning to apply for a second Barclaycard a the claim by the OP that 'I have been offered 28 months 0% BT by Barclaycard' in the sense of it being an existing customer offer to be highly improbable

    OP Please clarify.

If you also have a money transfer offer (I usually get both a balance transfer and money transfer offer on a monthly basis from barclaycard) you could use that to transfer the money into your bank account and then immediately pay off the card from there
