Hi POLLY I have just been thinking I haven't seen you around on the usual Old Style threads recently and up you pop! Nice to "see" you again.
I was going to post that I had fared better today with the window vac by using more water. Ok it was a bit messier but I didn't have nearly so many of those downward streaks! A little more practice and maybe I'll crack it!
Your mention of the small ecloth mini mop sounds interesting though, especially for the bathroom tiles which are proving to be another tedious job these days! Thanks POLL I shall definitely look into those xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
TA Homecare Essentials not Housecare! Fibro Fog strikes again :rotfl:The last few years have been busy but lots of progress for dd. Glad you're mastering the Karcher. If you look on the big A site for the mini mop look at the storefront for the seller, when I ordered it was hard to track the small one down but I'd ordered healthcare stuff from that seller in the past so went with them.
Take care

POLLY - Ordered one from Homecare Essentials - £12.95 inc postage! A small price to pay for something which will hopefully make life a bit easier! Thanks xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

When I ordered mine it came with one pad so I ordered another to use dry after washing to dry off. You can use the mop with a bucket of warm water but a spray bottle is handy too. Hope it solves the tile problem. I've been finding disability friendly solutions in different ways over the years. I never thought I'd ever feel my age always felt forever young :rotfl:but since passing 3 score and 10 some things needed a rethink.
For those with shoe dilemmas Hotter shoes are good. We have a proper shop in the nearby town and I watch out for the sales. The Calfly sandels from Flyflot were very comfy but they discontinued them a few years ago. I already had 1 pair but manged to pick up 2 more on the big A site plus a pair of their shoes with a low wedge and they're still going strong.
