Vehicle Tax Exemption Certificate.....

Hi,
I’ve been on DLA (High Rate Mobility & Mid Rate Care) for 30+yrs.
I’ve had my V11Z Vehicle Tax Reminder today, so went online as I always do to renew it.
However it won’t let me stating I need a Valid Exemption Certificate; I’ve never needed one before, just entered the V11Z reference number, NI number, DOB and surname and it’s done....
Now I’m in the process of switching from DLA to PIP (still awaiting to hear back from them), could this be why...?
How can I get around this issue and I can’t see anything about Vehicle Tax Exemption on my DLA award letter I received back in January 2019 or on the letters from 2018 & 2017.....should there be something included in these letters....?
Thanks

Yes, you need a valid certificate of entitlement, which should have come with your last DLA award, without this you can't claim the exemption.
It's DWP you need to contact not DVLA.

I managed to do it at the Post Office on Tuesday, I found an old Exemption Certificate from 2012 and they excepted that.
Today in the post I had my PIP award confirmation letter and that had a new Exemption Certificate from 30th Oct 2019.
Thanks for you advice.0
