Bulk Payment Redirection Service (BPRS) is a central database with the scheme and it is the scheme that do the redirection. BPRS redirects Bacs (both credits and Direct Debits) and FPS payments. Standing Orders are FPS and are therefore included.

There can be multiple BPRS redirections for a customer account at any point in time. e.g. Original account Natwest has CASS to Barclays then CASS to TSB, if a payment is sent with the oldest account details or the middle account details it will redirect to the newest account and the originator of the payment will be informed to update there records.
