If the Highway Code doesn't apply to private roads, how can you get a parking ticket for ignoring the 'clearway' & 'red route' restrictions?
But what about the pedestrian crossing...? If you don't stop when someone has stepped onto it, would it be a police matter or not?
    Complicated...

You cannot, the "ticket " tou mention is an invoice from an ex clamper for the alleged harm you caused them when you did what you did. Pay them not a penny unless a judge so orders it. IT IS A SCAM

Oh... I found this... so apparently private land is the same as a public highway if the owners so decide... therefore Highway Code applies...

By virtue of s 66 of the Airports Act 1986, all road traffic laws apply to roads within aerodromes owned or managed by the British Airports Authority, even though the public does not have access to such roads.

The Secretary of State can direct that any such roads in aerodromes are subject to general traffic laws.

you can carry on looking for logical reasoning .... or loopholes

in the murky world of private parking there are next to no rules.

You need to follow help being given, if there was a Highway Code angle to this .... do you not think we would have tried it by now ?

yes its not fair .... that's why most of us try to help out here ..

You appealed to the PPC and it was rejected as expected. Unfortunately you then appealed to the kangaroo court that is the IAS which is not advised by this forum, and lost as over 80% of motorists are guaranteed to do because of the IPC scam.

You are now in ignore mode except for complaints.

These should be made to: -

The Airport operators pointing out no breach of Ts and Cs occurred, and because byelaws apply.

The DVLA because the scammers unlawfully obtained the keeper's personal data for a non-parking event which is a breach of the PPC-DVLA Kadoe agreement.

To your MP about this unregulated scam. Perhaps you might decide to mention that your vote at the next election could be swayed by the MP's response, assuming they are standing again.

Ignore anything and everything else from now on unless you get real court papers.

Was this thread bumped by a :spam: post? Just curious as to why Fruity posted on it more than a month after the previous post.
