Why? If you are unsure how to use PayPal safely then have a read of the sticky threads on here and read what PayPal say about buyer protection. Basically you need to understand the difference between a friends and family payment which is not recoverable - the 'friends and family name is the clue, and a payment made for goods.

PayPal have safeguards in place for both buyers and sellers and if you plan to use it on any site to buy and sell you need to understand what you are doing.

Obviously online buying and selling is not suitable for everyone but it seems a shame to give up all online activity when there are ways to safeguard your money.
