Npower Final Bill Delay
Comments
-
Has anyone else had an issue with their final bill from npower?
I moved to EDF on 22/8/19 and apart from an email over 2 weeks ago to say there was a delay - I’m still waiting.
I’m sure if I owed them money then the final bill would have been super quick.
Hello eschaton, it can take up to 28 days for the meter readings to be confirmed and sent over the old supplier from the new supplier. We will be more than happy to check the status of the readings and get an final bill generated if we can. So we can do so please drop us an email to the address on our profile page and one of the team will be able to help.
Thanks

I'm having a horrible time transferring my parents' account away from npower. They keep blocking it due to outstanding amounts on the account. Nothing overdue, just what would be expected from the final bill. I've never had a switch blocked like this. The latest is that gas has been transferred but they blocked the electric transfer. On a dual fuel tariff.
Add the hours I've spent on webchats, phone calls and dealing with folk who don't listen to what you say and don't answer the question you ask and my stress level is through the roof.0 -
I find giving them a time limit works, tell them they have 14 days, not working days, to sort it and produce the bill or it goes to the Ombudsman. You could also use Resolver then if they don't reply go through the Ombudsman from Resolver. If there is no reason for blocking the transfer you would get a payment from them as compensation.Someone please tell me what money is0
