Structural Drawings and Buildings Regs Package

Options
I have got planning approval for replacing a conservatory with a single storey extension and converting a garage to living space.

The former will require removal of external wall currently between kitchen and conservatory.

I have been quoted £2850 (including VAT) for

* One Structural Site Survey ( Pre-construction)
* Structural Designs and Calculations (according to the planning drawings submitted).
* Building Regulations Package

Location is in Surrey and close to London border.

Does this seem like a fair quote? I've got absolutely no clue

  • It's good value if you mean that it also includes the completion of work, if that is just for the preliminaries then no it's not good value!

    it includes a site survey, making the structural drawings and ensuring it complies with building regulations, submitting it to building control (fees extra for building control - £900+VAT) and liasing with them to get approval for plans.

    is this counted as "preliminaries" or "completion of work"?
