Ppi sold to barclays

I had an egg card, now sold to Citibank. I filled in form for ppi refund and have had letter saying, yes they have account details, but ppi sold to barclays. Deadline passed can I still claim?

In exceptional circumstances, most firms will accept late complaints. You can only try but make sure you state the you complianed ot citibank about the egg card prior to the deadline.0
