Bank account no income

You are very lucky my mums credit card was taken out in the days before experian and co. Therefore not showing any history at all. My father died earlier this year and she lost her connected accounts and now has nothing on her credit file.

Bit off-topic, but kind of a weird comment this... they're not a thing of the past (they still exist and some are quite good value), they weren't wildly unpopular (quite a few people choose to have them) and you could always get a completely free current account with all high-street banks with the packaged accounts being optional - that's not a new thing.

That said OP's mum needs to downgrade hers pronto as if she can't afford the fee then she shouldn't be paying it.
