Parked outside closed shops NE PARKING LTD parking charge notice

Hi all first post so forgive me if I'm unclear or make rookie mistakes.
I parked outside CLOSED row of shops on!Station Road, Blackpool, FY4 1BE
Mostly were clearly out of business and the CCTV was a dummy camera and faced the upstairs window.
There were the standard signs don't park here 24 hour surveillance etc.
As it was a big street and I was causing no obstruction I left my car. Same as I would do in a public street in Manchester.
I came back to a PARKING CHARGE NOTICE from NE PARKING LTD.
I'm thinking to ignore the notice as the closed shops will not be paying NE PARKING LTD to monitor this space and feel like it's a scam. HOWEVER NE PARKING LTD are a partner of the IPC.
Should I pay the 'invoice' or ignore it?
I have seen online that there are a bit of a crappy company to deal with.
Thoughts please or if you've had recent dealings and what your experience is.
Thanks

appeal once , as KEEPER, using the blue text template , then ignore unless ME try a court claim within 6 years0

I'm not sure what I'm appealing as I parked were they said no parking. I'm more asking whether they are basically taking me for a ride in asking me to pay. Is it like me changing someone to park on my driveway. Has anyone been taken to court by NE PARKING LTD0

they can certainly take you to court where a judge will decide
it could be classed as trespassing , the vehicle should not have been there, but if they have a contract and you broke it by parking there then they can take you to court for alleged breach of contract
its up to a judge if you should pay or not
you can take my advice or not , but I believe my advice was correct and I stand by it
appeal once , then ignore anything except a court claim0 -

Same as I would do in a public street in Manchester.
But it was not a public highway, it was private land, an elephant trap set by scammers into which you fell, you now have pay up or learn the rules of the game into which you have been co-opted.
Nine times out of ten of these tickets are scams so consider complaining to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking CompaniesYou never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
