That's a brave question to ask and I am sure that you will receive a direct response shortly. Naive is certainly not a word that I would associate with the person in question however, which is evidenced by their number of posts and level of thanks received.

You mean consumer fraud or bank fraud?
Are you referring to the issue where half of all PPI complaints made are "fraudulent" (using your word). i.e. where the consumer make allegations of wrongdoing where no PPI existed.

The PPI issue was certainly widespread and reflected the culture at the time. However, you would have be naive to assume that every PPI sold was a missale and that consumers haven't taken advantage of it.

Like most things, there are shades of grey. It's not black and white.
