When will people realise that just because it's on Facebook and it's cheap then it's OK? Sorry, but there have been enough of these scams publicised that people should realise that Facebook is not the place to spend thousands of pounds.
If they had bought from an established travel agency which belonged to one of the appropriate schemes they'd be getting their money back, even if it cost more initially.
They must take some responsibility for their own actions, by not questioning why these holidays looked such a bargain. We'll be hearing all the sad stories now - generally it'll be single mums/dads who wanted to their child a holiday of a lifetime. When I couldn't give my child an expensive holiday we went to Butlins or had days out. Holidays to Disneyland are not an essential they are a luxury and not everybody in the world can have luxuries.0 -
