Do buses have right of way on roundabouts?!

Your talking out of your !!!.
Large vehicles need more room, on big roundabouts they can follow the lanes, but on tighter roundabouts they need more space.
They straddle the lanes to stop cars sneaking up beside them, avoiding accidents.
It’s impatient car drivers who are the problem, who in their right mind would try to sneak up the side of an articulated lorry or a 60ft Bus on a roundabout or a corner ?
Answer to the original question-No, they don’t have right of way, it’s just that we all have to share the road.0 -

Large vehicles are notorious for straight linining roundabouts but in quite a few cases it's due to laziness and poor driving standards. They just aim for their exit and sod the rest of the people on the road.
People with attitudes like this should try driving a bus. A lot of people find driving a large car awkward, imagine what it's like driving a vehicle the size of a small house.0 -
Phone the Traffic manager at the Bus company, tell him how much the repair is and how he wants to pay it.
If he says no,tell him you will take this to small claims court.
Now learn to drive, dont argue with things bigger than you.0 -
The HC also tells you to give priority to buses “if you can do so safely”. Rule 223.0

Its poor driving on both sides if there is an acident, with the bus driver having more of the responsibility, in my opinion.
I drive a minibus, so I watch out for these situations more, but its not so big that I cannot keep within the lane.
It would be ridiculous to think that its ok to cross a lane marking if another vehicle was already there.0 -

If they are not capable of driving correctly they shouldn't be driving such vehicles0
