Cheapest phone line rental and anytime calls

Currently Now ADSL broadband is £18/month for 12 months. No setup or box costs and it includes full (ie including mobile) anytime calls. It just needs something like McAfee, if security is required, as they don't provide it, but the cost, from Amazon is under £1 per month.

NowTV ADSL BB is an excellent choice at £18 a month with no setup or delivery fees which includes any-time calls. However the OPs mother doesn't want the broadband side of it so no need for McAfee, in fact if she did MS defender will do the same job for free.

For the OP just leave the router in the box and plug the phone into the socket, job done. Don't forget to check in 12 months time for end of minimum term rises, NowTV are very easy to talk to and will do a good deal.
