Pre-empting a bunch of parking charges

Coupon-Mad will be interested in this, what with it being local to her:

Shoppers stuck in Aldi car park ‘for hours’
https://www.theargus.co.uk/news/17935795.shoppers-stuck-aldi-car-park-for-hours/

No mention of it yet, but within the next few days, I envisage a whole bunch of PCNs hitting the keepers of the cars trapped in the car park. If Aldi don't handle the fallout well, they could be in for a lot of flak.

LOL - I hadn't seen that but yes, I bet P/Eye issue PCNs like confetti.

Why anyone would use the Lewes Rd after the Council ruined it, is beyond me!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If they do I am sure they will get very short shift from Aldi. This is not the sort of publicity any company needs.

ParkingEye won't care! Their profiteering is much more important than that of their employer.

A long long time ago, I used reside there. We never had parking problems.
